Customer story — Entertainment

Recording studio, one platform.

Mixmastered Studios is a professional recording studio in Chicago serving independent artists, bands, podcasters, and producers. OneHub360 replaced a tangle of Instagram DMs, scattered notes, and PayPal invoices with a single platform: artist roster, session pipeline, direct booking checkout, and clean post-session billing.

The problem

Every booking lived in a different place.

Bookings came in through Instagram DMs and email threads. Artist info lived in phone contacts and a producer's memory. Invoicing happened over PayPal with no record of which session it was for. The producer who tracked the session was the only one who knew what was paid, what was promised, and who was coming back next week.

For a studio that runs multiple producers and rooms, that fragmentation is expensive. Pipeline visibility was zero. Repeat artists got treated like first-timers because nobody could find the prior session notes.

What we built

Roster, pipeline, checkout, invoicing — wired together.

Every artist is a contact.

Independent artists, bands, podcasters, producers — all stored in one roster with full session history attached. Phone contacts, sticky notes, and DMs stop being the source of truth.

Every session is a deal.

Session type, duration, producer assigned, booked date, status. The pipeline tracks each booking from first inquiry through completion. No more "wait, was that confirmed or not?"

Direct checkout for upfront bookings.

A custom Studios Checkout endpoint on the site lets artists book and pay in one flow. Per-unit pricing for hourly, half-day, and full-day sessions, with quantity bounds so a client can't accidentally book 40 hours in a single order.

Post-session invoicing through Stripe.

Mixing, mastering, and overage hours go out as OneHub360 invoices, paid through Stripe. Every session has a paper trail tied to the artist contact and the deal record. Accounting stops being a quarterly fire drill.

Honest about what this is

One custom UI on a standard OH360 stack.

Studios Checkout is a custom endpoint on top of the standard OH360 billing stack. It's not in the product catalog yet — but everything it does (contacts, deals, invoices) is standard OH360. The checkout UI is the only custom piece.

Running a service business with bookings and follow-up?

Studios, salons, clinics, photographers — anyone with repeat clients and recurring sessions can run on OneHub360. The CRM, pipeline, and invoicing are standard. The custom checkout was the part that made the studio click.
